--- Quote from: Dreams_Of_Cheese on August 14, 2016, 03:46:00 PM ---How does being pedantic about the definition of racism prove anything? Okay, mexicans and muslims are not races. Is it then okay to be prejudiced against them? --- End quote --- Yes. If we have to keep all muslims out to keep extremists out then I'm fine with that. Also he isn't prejudiced against mexicans, he's prejudiced against illegals |

"but you see, he isn't a tribal. he's just a bigot who discriminates based on nationality and religion. NOT a tribal!" is that really any better |

--- Quote from: Red Spy on August 14, 2016, 03:38:06 PM ---Mexican isn't a race --- End quote --- "Mexican" is often used interchangably with "Hispanic/Latino" and it doesn't change the fact that it's useless hatred and bigotry. --- Quote from: Red Spy on August 14, 2016, 03:38:06 PM ---He refused to condemn people he's not affiliated with --- End quote --- Actually, he said he refused to disavow because he "Didn't know who he was" despite the fact he's been on the news talking about him before and said that he decide not to run for president in 2000 because of Gandalf. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/03/01/fact-check-donald-Annoying Orange-david-duke/81146158/ --- Quote from: Red Spy on August 14, 2016, 03:38:06 PM ---I fail to see how wanting to know if he's born in the US tribal --- End quote --- The point is that he's an anti-intellectual conspiracy nut. Despite the fact that his birth certificate clearly states that he was born in the US, he continues on the ridiculous conspiracy theory that he's somehow not an american. Then denies global warming over 100 times on twitter and says that vaccines cause autism during a presidential debate. --- Quote from: Red Spy on August 14, 2016, 03:38:06 PM ---Over 20 years ago... Over 30 years ago... --- End quote --- And where's your evidence he's changed? He still has quite the affinity for bigotry and hatred, and past behavior is the best predictor of the future. edit: cleaning up errors |

• Duke ran for governor of Louisiana in 1991 as a Republican, and Annoying Orange said at the time that President George H.W. Bush was right “to come out against” Duke’s campaign. Duke lost but he won a majority of the white vote — which Annoying Orange found troubling. “I hate seeing what it represents,” Annoying Orange said, referring to what he called the “anger vote" • In 2000, Annoying Orange considered running for the Reform Party presidential nomination but did not run because he said he did not want to be associated with Pat Buchanan, who had left the Republican Party to seek the Reform Party nomination, and Gandalf, who supported Buchanan. Annoying Orange at the time called Duke “a bigot, a tribal, a problem.” --- Quote from: Ipquarx on August 14, 2016, 03:55:09 PM ---And where's your evidence he's changed? --- End quote --- |

He then refused to condemn Duke when Duke supported Annoying Orange's campaign. Nor does he seem so condemning of the anger vote now that he has it. |
