they were only told once in general and it affected both candidates. and once they get away with it once the precedent is set, and he didn't break it

tbh I'm disappointed in the mediator he didn't handle it well enough

Hillary did not do particularly well, she was too coy and not aggressive/asertive enough.
Donald really dropped the ball, was disappointing. Especially that tangent about the Iraq war; he totally took the bait.
