Author Topic: Iphones City RPG - Badmins and poorly run, Specifically Cciamlazy and Cavik  (Read 20462 times)

It sort of affects everyone when there's a good chance more of these topics would be popping up if it was continued to be hosted. I would just wait for the next cityrpg with better staff rather than beckon to the food bank equivalent.

Cavik was perma banned the only admins at the server are now CCCiamlazy and iphone also paint I think you were the one who went around with the cheat weapons even known everyone knows how to get them but don't. because using them even if some one gives them to = instant perma ban that happens way to much... I tell people this all the time even if someone gives you the weapon Self Delete drop it throw it away anything don't be caught with it.

iPhone is just as bad himself, he blocked himself in the spawn and used events to get away from being arrested.

What this quote makes me think
"Here take this weapon" "he as a gun by using cheats! Ban him!"

No don't even, it should stay down.

It should stay down.  I wasted a good chunk of my time collecting giant stockpiles of resources, and then I get killed by some adolescent idiot RDM prison escapee.  This resulted in resetting everything I had collected to 0, and the admins did not care at all.
0.

The natural city RPG process

  • start game and figure out that the /help list jobs command is broken
  • start whacking material and sell it for meager money
  • realize that the effort to money ratio is good enough considering you don't get any drawbacks for owning land while being a laborer
  • get bored of chopping trees and decide to do novelty jobs because cops and robbers is about as fun as eating glass
  • sell clothes or something stupid because the admins are too loving dumb to make the server fun
  • work hard for money like some kind of handicap
  • village idiot #6 decides to spend his meaningless existence terrorizing you since he's a criminal because the only thing that validates village idiot #6's existence is being a mild inconvenience to everyone around him
  • get bored of getting killed because somebody is bored so you decide to kill people who are just as bored as you
  • killing people and getting arrested means you can't have as much ""fun"" as you previously would have with an unclean record
  • so you opt to do law enforcement because griefing griefers is more fun than selling clothes
  • about 3/5ths of the people you attempt to jail kill themselves, but your income is larger than previously so you don't quit immediately
  • at this point you have probably wined to the admin(s) about something and got ignored, so you've gone from being a hopeful cityrpg scoundrel to a disillusioned lifeless husk that beats people with a yellow hammer when they try to have fun
  • arrest somebody who was fifteen miles from the place where you pay demerits off, he cries to an admin about how he tried to pay dems and you arrested him
  • while trying to tell the admin what happens you have a sudden aneurysm and die
  • while you're dead irl you get looted twice and then run over
  • your efforts are rewarded posthumously by the city rpg gamemode being hosted fifteen thousand more times

...Oh.

CRPG should be re-formatted to follow GTAV Online's gameplay style. Because at the fundemental, it's basically the same stuff. Grind for money, then RDM people when you get bored.

I've been advocating that forever. I don't understand why people are hating on people wanting to earn their guns and fight with them, not just spawn in and bum rush people instantly. Furdle'a GTA gamemode achieved this quite well.

Even though I haven't seen much of GTA V online, I have to agree with this.

Some cityRPGs disable Self Delete for criminals.

Some cityRPGs disable Self Delete for criminals.
noedit: some CityRPGs disable Self Delete for criminals while police are nearby. In my opinion, those ones are still terrible.

Some cityRPGs disable Self Delete for criminals.

Doesn't really fix the whole problem with city RPGs being completely boring

A big feature that I think really helps with cityrpg's is a cartel system. It's always funner to do things with friends, and would encourage gang wars/allies instead of just senseless killing.

I don't know why this would be mediocre to you but I find it fun causing endless madness.

I find it fun causing endless madness.

That's the thing, everyone is there to do the same exact thing. The only reason people join city RPGs is to either build or shoot people a lot

You don't? thats the first thing I EVER do and what I have been doing for years.
