It was manual, which you would have known if you watched the video.
And what the hell, are you saying that legality just straight up doesn't matter? You're delusional if you think Google is too big to get a class action lawsuit. They'll fight it until the bitter end, sure, but with all the evidence piling up there's extremely little chance they can get away with any of this. What they're doing is literally harboring and protecting serious criminal activity.

How dare they attempt to moderate what they are legally required to.
Grr!!!
implying that something legal is right

copyright laws in general are complete bullstuff and are about to become even more outrageous once TPP passes, which it may due to the common citizen not having a say over large corporations nowadays (as well as not being informed).

there goes bisjac again dropping his unwanted two cents on something he was just too busy to look into for five seconds

News flash: filing false copyright claims to divert somebody else's royalties or revenue into your own bank account, no matter where it comes from, is pretty loving illegal. Nothing is getting done on it because the developers of youtube are stupid enough to not require personal information or confirmation that a copyright claim is legit

And the only automatic process on youtube is a content id match, which doesn't take videos down

You keep bringing up baseless claims and statements as if they're even relevant.
