Feminist Ghostbusters: Tumblr Edition

People are flipping stuff over Kate McKinnon's character for some reason.

Maybe.....

As I said to a friend, and totally not on reddit

looks like a SNL skit, not a movie

The movie is going to flop.

Original ghostbusters had a target audience of men about 13-30+

Very few women actually saw ghost busters.

Now they turned the tables and are targeting ghostbusters to women about 13-30+

It's going to basically be a chick flick with proton packs.

Okay so your prediction is completely off.
What you're saying is that women aged 13+ don't go to see movies? Or that they wont see it because "very few women actually saw the first"?
Because both of those statements are complete bullstuff pulled from deep within your brown town cavity.

It won't do well at the box office because everybody knows its stuff already.

All the good old movie sequels suck ass

Why are they calling it ghostbusers?

Can't they at least be creative and give it a new name to avoid confusion?

That actually sums it up pretty well.

Because its the new hip thing in today's media industries to call things by their franchise names alone.
