since its fluid, its the same as personality, practically.
you could see the gender titles as the stuff a personality test gives you like INFJ, INFP, w/e, but that still doesnt mean youre strictly just that title.
people are vastly different so no one really exactly feels what you feel so being under a title is dumb.

At-least those are founded somewhat in reality, extroversion vs introversion is a psychological science that's been studied for a VERY long time. It's very easy to explain why I is different from E in this particular scheme. I'm reading this website and I'm seeing stuff like "guydyke", which means you are a "lesbian in a man's body". So, you like women and you've got a snake, what is the easiest way to explain this to someone? I guarantee you it's not trying to explain to someone why you refer to yourself as a "guydyke".

I mean, forget it right? At the end of the day, you can refer to yourself as whatever the hell you want, I can understand wanting to give yourself neato beneto titles and traits so you can understand yourself to a better (albeit vastly more complex) degree, sounds like fun, but the stuff I don't understand is when people start asking for special pronouns or demanding weird options on Facebook. Right now, my gender on facebook is set to the entire navy seals copy-pasta. I don't get it, man, in what world is this even necessary

yeah my gender on facebook is "coolman" i dont see why people need to have such weird titles, stuff like you named freaks me out.
its a lot better if we'd keep our priority info (name, age, love) first, and then all the secondary stuff (personality, gender, zodiac, w/e) for later if ever needed, no need for that stuff to come up first.

I think people just want to sum up a lot of things under one word. Like your description of "guydyke" would just be a transwoman (you could even drop the trans bit and just say female) but for some reason she wants to add her loveual orientation in there as well, which makes no sense because loveual orientation isn't part of gender

Something kind of along the same lines: if you hang around on threads about religion, you'll notice people have like 5 different terms to describe not believing in a god, because they want to say "I don't believe in God, but..."
And I think it's kind of a similar psychological phenomenon here that makes people "create" additional "genders" because they want to say "this is my gender, but..." and throw in something not gender related

Define "add to society". I can agree with anyone here that the 50 some genders is a bit ridiculous, but it's more of a symptom of society than anything. It's concentrated individualism and I don't think anyone not completely forgetin out of their mind would expect individualism to "add to society"

I don't use facebook.  I rarely use Google+, and I don't subscribe to idiots trying to sound intellectual.  Most of what I am learning comes from research directly published by experts in their discipline.  I do this because I am attracted to how these things can help me design better machines, structures, chemicals, etc. and in different varieties.  This has led me to an unbiased perspective in the complex understanding of (blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda.  Enough of that, read the rant below.)

Besides from that, everything you said I agree with from a personal point of view.

EDIT:  Adding to society as in being able to reproduce more labour force, from a physical point of view.  A person's usefulness and what they are useful in mostly comes from their personality, I suppose.  But this can be effected by their mindset about their gender, as transloveuals tend to have a higher rate of Self Delete, and so a waste of resources, time and effort.  Most are not like this, but the risks are much higher.

I'm not being an starfish by telling you plainly the real PHYSICS behind everything.
 Playing pretend-teapot-party about how we should accept genetic and hereditary abnormalities of the mind and body is insane.  We should not tolerate these things if they do not add to society.  These things must be FIXED, not accepted.

The person that is suffering from the a abnormality is not the problem.  He or she has nothing to do with this and is being driven to do things via incorrect chemical prompting, it is not their fault.

I'm not going to call them special little things and make myself look childish when writing a paper on, say, boron stability, and how one of my associates is a half-brooded-demigod-tractor-phone and should be refered to as "ve" and "e".  That's rediculous.

There are only two genders and two loveualities for humans, and any other so-called gender is a useless neurological deformity, not a different gender.  You are a he if you impregnate, and you are a she if you become pregnant.  If you cannot do either of these things, then it is what you were able to do originally.  Memory cannot be erased.  If you made a transition and somehow you are now able to impregnate or become pregnant, then that is an exception, as you are now PHYSICALLY that gender and loveuality.

I'm not insulting anyone by calling this what it is.  There is no need to warp the truth with emotional bias, trying to be insightful when you actually have teenage-identity issues.
