The BLF rules are kind of bad in general though. Rule 5 is ambiguous except for the examples, and would technically apply for the occasional "family member / pet has cancer" topic, and rules 6, 7, 8, 9, and sometimes 1 are broken on a regular basis depending on the topic. Especially 7. Like, in addition to it being broken constantly all over the place, that's literally what the Drama forum is. I've opposed the Drama forum's existence for a while, but my reasons for that aren't relevant. I'm already off-topic enough as is.

We shouldn't have any "hidden rules" either, and the case where an starfish is just constantly pissing everyone off for months and starting tons of stuff but isn't banned because they never technically?????? broke a rule is stupid.
