2 new trailers were released for virus and minigolf. Also, it appears that backers and GMT donors will get a miniature Lobby 1 replica.

Is the game worth the 15$ as of now?
Also ehhhhhh, kind of worried that this game is going to end up like second life with workshop support hinted at, I'm hoping they mean a system like TF2 where items get approved and put up for sale.

All items that are convertible will be converted into TU items. Any items that aren't convertible you will receive a full refund for in Units. You will also receive Units for any condo upgrades you have made. Unfortunately, I do not know the conversion rate between coins and Units.

Eventually, they will release a converter that will allow you to do this.

As of now there are only 4 playable game worlds and a lot of the Lobby is still nonfunctional (most of the pier is done model-wise but has no function, arcade still has no function and accessing your condo via a lobby is still spotty) and most of the game worlds only have 1-2 players playing at a time(However this could change by the time EA releases). Unless you really can't wait, I'd hold off on it for a while.

I also really like your idea of a moderated workshop, but only time can tell how they're going to do it.

By the way, TU has an official(?) Discord server for those that want on-the-spot info or just want to chat with really weird people

Remember that all your GMTower progress, stuff, etc is saved in a database. The tool allows does a conversion by looking at the GMTower database, finding your file, and porting it over.
