Sure, you could use this to simulate your desktop(s) in different environments, but what about simulating multiple monitors?

Say I bought a new PC, I wonder if we would be able to just buy a VR headset instead of a monitor. We could just use that to virtualize as many monitors as we wanted to the limits of our GPUs.

My problem with this kind of stuff is that the readability of words looks terrible. Maybe once we get very high resolution displays it'll actually be usable, but right now it seems like a 5 minute gimmick.
