So my brother ordered the Rift almost as soon as the pre-order came out. It came yesterday and I had the pleasure of trying it. Tried a few of the demos and holy forget I was blown away.

Anyone here tried the rift or vive? What did you think?

Demos I liked on the Rift:
Dinosaur in the hallway
On top of the building in the city

P.s. having a 20 foot tall dinosaur walking towards you is the most terrifying experience I've had. Especially when movement is super limited XD

I tried one of the Dev kits for the Rift, and it was pretty cool. I could still see the edges of the screen though and it was still to pixilated.

Its still like that. However, I felt that once I was actually doing things in VR the pixelation and edges faded into the background. Being in the Oculus Home or any other still shot shows the pixelation quite a bit.

I prefer the vive, I dont like the facebook stuff the rift does
