I had an awful habit of this when I was 12-13. I would frequently and subconsciously chew on my shirt collar, to the point where all of my shirts were warped, had holes in them, and my collar was often visibly damp. Thankfully the habit eventually died, though I will now occasionally chew on the end of a q-tip.
