i did salt and "warm" water (i set it to hot but it wouldnt loving heat)
it felt goood. for a solid 7 minutes + peroxide. I feel fine as of now, but its steadily swelling (it should stop soon enough.)

the "infected" skin has a shiny layer ontop (probably tiny sweat particles) so i can see the effected part; and im in doubt my body would allow so many bloodcells to die. seriously body cmon i trust you.

me hope u get better looks painful

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaah that's no bueno

The infection is spreading I suggest seeing a doctor ASAP
Not even I would dare fix it myself now (even though the doctor might make it seem like an easy fix)

called it, stopped spreading. it stopped swelling too but its not going away any time soon

Always cut your nails straight across, with a nail clipper. Biting/picking at your nails causes them to cut in a curve. This means they can grow sideways, into your skin.

The shiny sweaty layer is probably where your skin is retaining water.

Whenever I start tohave ingrown toe/fingernails I just dig in and clip em off lol.

Even if it goes away, get it checked out.

did you get it out tho
