Author Topic: Holding a Wasp Hostage  (Read 12822 times)

3 days ago I trapped a wasp in my porch window and it is still alive.

Yesterday it tried escaping, I could hear it buzzing from 5 feet away.

Last night and earlier today it has stayed in the corner of the window, barely moving, but still alive. It started walking around when I went outside to photograph it.

I'm not sure how long it will last. Should I give it food and water to prolong its death? Let it starve? Release it? It's a male, so it doesn't have a stinger.

just take out the middle-man by burning the entire house down

uhh... release it? i mean, why did you even keep it?

he's gonna do a prisoner exchange, silly

I doubt it doesn't have a stinger. That forgeter looks nasty

keep it as your pet/slave

shove it up your man hole

judging by the color and size he's either a yellow jacket or a hornet so yeah
male wasps might not have stingers but they DO bite like nobody's business and considering he's more likely one of the really aggressive ones he should be starved probs

Find the queen so the prisoner exchange can be completed.

record yourself beheading it and use the video as propaganda against other wasps
