If there is something I have realized, it is that a lot of people willingly do things to harm themselves which is bizarre.

I have been giving it thought and from a psychological standpoint I feel it is because some people think that they are invincible or at least in control of whether their body gets damaged or not despite doing something completely handicapped... Maybe evolution will filter these people out one day

Phanto may have survived this stupid act but there is a key thing to consider, the liver he has now is the liver he must live with for the rest of his life. The more you tax it unnecessarily the more likely it is to give you chronic problems in the future.
