First time I drove it was a manual. If you're using an automatic it should be cake.

ill be driving a Suzuki Swift auto for my first drive, don't really want to learn manual since I plan on getting a mo-bike license (need to complete learners for a car first) and manual is, at least from what I've heard, ass to learn. also most cars today use automatic

the Suzuki is owned by the learners place thingy so its not ours, once I get some experience ill be driving my brothers polo which has DSG if I feel the need to gear switch

Manual actually is super easy, and can be more fun than an automatic. But auto is too convenient which is why I don't drive a manual.
