forgot to add "at first" - an entire screen of flying bullets will spook pretty much anyone who's just started playing, but if you sink your points into piercing you shouldn't have much issue ripping through it

he can also spec into piercing and become essentially immune to machine gunners and destroyers but a decently specced max piercing and bullet speed assassin will absolutely wreck you with an extremely high damage output and a huge vision advantage and should be able to 2 shot you even with max health fully specced
