how can you even have this opinion
are you honestly trying to tell me kill bill is better then django
that grindhouse is better then django
that deathproof is better than django
django has an amazing story, cast, and setting and everything else
i guess more like out of the ones i've watched (kill bill is actually questionable, pulp fiction, reservoir dogs, inglorious basterds (also questionable)). i had a huge gripe with the story. it came across as very weak, similar to kill bill, in that it does not try to focus on a deeper picture and establish deeper characters, but rather gives django a lot of power (his killer aim, his basic tale of vengeance). it certainly is not a bad movie, not at all, but you certainly cannot watch it and feel powerfully moved, intrigued, etc. as it is not one of those stories.
