Well I can always get a tame one

3 roosters.
if you pick them all up at once does that mean you take 3 roosters at once

Naturally.

This is why you keep it outside in its own house.
i tried this once, but they never payed rent. they ended up having to begg on the street

I really want a chicken so I can pick it up and hug it
they're so fluffy and cute and I want to pet one
They're kind of prickly, covered in fleas, and squirm a lot.

oh my god

I own 16, 2 roosters and 14 hens

We have lost five so far, four died and we got rid of a violent rooster.

i own like 30+ chickens and have had over 100 over the course of 6 - 7 years

sometimes you get nice chickens, other times you get starfishs, the breeds depend too
you can get a rooster too but don't have hens if you want him to stay nice, or make sure he's crippled, i've never had a defective rooster that's also an starfish

if you want your chicken to be like, a pet that lets you pick it up and all that, you'd have to handle it often when it's just a chick and be it's primary caretaker, hand feeding it might be good too idk
otherwise it'll probably still be friendly towards you but it'd just be because it thinks you've got something for it

We used to have around 30 chickens. About 20 got butchered and the other 10 are still layin eggs. If you just want a cute pet chicken i'd get a banty.

hey they don't gotta be small to be cute
