did they say what caused your lung to collapse?

english genetics mixed with spaniard genetics is your answer

they didn't know, it was spontaneous as sometimes you don't even need to do anything to cause certain injuries. Could've done something in my sleep but I woke up in the same position I fell asleep in

I was told, while I was in the hospital, they can occur for two reasons:

Trauma related, most common with injuries involving the ribs
Spontaneous, most common with tall and skinny folks, around the age of 18.

So your telling me that a lung collapses out of nowhere with no provocation and casues excruciating pain?
Im fairly sure theres atleast something that happened to cause it, but Ill take your word for it

Well, a pneumothorax isn't exactly a "lung collapse". It's just a leak of air pressing against your lung which got there by infiltration (spontaneous) or by a trauma.

You're so kawaii. I don't know why your lungs would decide to randomly kill you like this. Glad you're feeling better.
