Not gonna lie--I haven't done a huge amount of research on it. But from what I've seen the push to leave is a conservative motion because they think it will cut down on corporate and business taxes and regulations. Which IMO are usually a good thing. Sadly they might leave because liberals barely vote.
It's not quite as cut and dry as that. The conservative government's stance is that it's pro-remain, but there's a divide amongst them, with many being leave. But there's also a lot of liberals who are pro-leave too.
It almost doesn't run down political borders, it's just a case of 50% think one way and the rest think the other.
I voted leave solely in the hopes of sock eating.
