I would like better shadows, like marble blast`s, and make light not go past walls. Discuse.

It goes through brick for the same reason snow does: by making the brick lag alot less you have to give up some detail...

Someone could make a physical zone wand or something. Sorta like the portals found in Torque Constructor.

Allows you to create an area not affected by outside light.

Would be good for caves and such.

Aren't physicalzones for increased gravity and stuff?

Yes, lets get some use out of my shader abilities of my video card. While we're at it, lets add some good ol' motion blur and perhaps noise for better visuals. We also may need to bump up the requirements a little, but damn, it will sure look good.

Portals are a feature purely for interiors, you cant spawn them as an "object" or anything - and moving and scaling a portaled interior would need a relight each time you move it.

The shadows look slightly better with AA.
