Author Topic: Medieval Map WIP  (Read 3176 times)

A "realistic" medieval map for my upcomming roleplay, not fantasy stuff (Probably won't get finished. my projects never do).

Looks great, can't wait for it to be finished!

I'd suggest having large swaths of farmland if you can manage it.
Behold, the green fields of England:

Furthermore, might want to change the forests a bit:

I tried doing that on a previous map, but it was a huge hassle because of all the angles in roads and farms.
I'm mostly trying to replicate woodland wilderness instead of presettled farmland and countryside.

Sometime I hope to replace the shorter trees with taller ones (Or possibly redo the forests altogether)

an overview picture of the town/buildings would be nice, looks good though

not bad but not 100% medieval

What about it isn't medieval? I used designs for all the buildings from real 10th century architecture and buildings.
