good gaming computers are around $1000 while a ps4 is like, what, $300 - $350?
Absolutely false... A PS4 is still $430 new and you can make a computer with just-as-new parts that's much better for that much money.

I made a tourist attraction

when you've never built a pc

Your eyes still barely notice a difference between 30fps and 60fps.

lol

Where the forget are you from? Are you including taxes, don't include taxes.

PS4 launched with 400 not 430.

that's the minimum graphics card for no man's sky, according to no man's sky

right

now if you can make a computer for $350 or less that meets no man's sky minimum requirements i'll believe you

when you've never built a pc
idk man
every time i've seen a "is this pc build good??" thread, they're always at least $800 after all the rebates

jesus christ i hate this mindset

good gaming computers are around $1000 while a ps4 is like, what, $300 - $350? not everyone wants to spend a thousand dollars to play a few video games
besides the fact some people might want to have a console so their siblings / children can use it, play games with them and their pals, or just enjoy playing a video game on a big television

you act like people aren't allowed to be upset because they didn't spend more money

ehh, my 2011 system ($600 back then) still stuffs on the ps4 and now the computer would prob be valued around 400

also the gtx 480 is not $500 worth, it's like $80-$100 it's just that high valued because of its rarity (it's out of production)

now if you can make a computer for $350 or less that meets no man's sky minimum requirements i'll believe you

here's a pc that will outperform the ps4 at a little more than your price point ($439) but considering I bought my PS4 for $428 including tax it's similar value

(heads up if you don't know, the GTX 950 is better than the GTX 480)

http://hwbench.com/vgas/geforce-gtx-480-vs-geforce-gtx-950

using an average of 8000 user benchmarks: http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-950-vs-Nvidia-GTX-480/3510vs3157

still a 21% overall performance increase in the 950

That's an old card. A 960 is equivalent to it and is only $170.

My GTX 960 4gb was 266 dollars ON SALE!

There is no loving way I could make a computer with less than 100 dollars of other stuff because my RAM is 16GB which was 66 dollars, also on sale.

So how the forget am I going to make the other half of the computer with less than 18 dollars?

huh
guess i was wrong about the price difference then

steve is wrong, at least based off benchmarks, i updated my above post with two links that proves that the 950 outperforms the 480

What's wrong with PS4 anyways?

Why not both?

If you don't like it then don't talk about it, no one cares about PC elitism anyways.

You can't massage your ego and claim how superior your build skills are if you buy a console.
