i have to go to a funeral today but tbh i just wanna chill out at the highschool with my friends who still go there

nah the guy wasn't super close to me or anything, just part of the church family. i only started crying when i saw his wife go up to his casket and break down into tears (they were an elderly couple who'd been together a long time). the wife also used to be our worship leader until she considered herself too elderly to keep leading us in hymns, but you could hear her singing a hymn to her husband inbetween her sobs and that made my heart shatter into like 48 pieces
