For the past month I've been struggling with insomnia, anyone have any suggestions on how2sleep? I've tried picking up meditation to help peace of mind so I can fall asleep but now it's getting to the point where the act of falling asleep is neigh impossible.
I don't want to start taking medication for it, either.

melatonin is a hormone, not a medication.

intentionally tire yourself out via exercise
watch something very interestingly calming (i suggest videogame runs)
put yourself into a coma before the insomnia gets worse

I've been watching streamers do speedruns if I can't sleep which helps, but exercising before bed doesn't help because it gets my heartbeat going too fast, and that makes it harder to sleep.
I've been using flux too, I read that the absence of blue light makes your body produce more melatonin and in turn make the sleeps happen, but after awhile it just became impossible to fall asleep.
