In my personal opinion, the Twitter drama which occurred absolutely infuriated me. I get it, people are trolls and are pushed to mob others for simply doing something that doesn't affect their lives at all. I would understand if Leslie had participated in acts of hatred towards others very recently and not 5 or so years ago, one of peoples' only reasons that can be used in defence, (which has been mentioned in this thread) but she acted in a movie. I repeat, she acted in a movie, harmlessly entertaining other people and just trying to make the world happier by inspiring laughter.
Also I understand that she is a comedian and should be able to take a joke. But not when it can't even be seen as a joke. She has not once condoned anyone to joke about stuff. Maybe the posts were jokes, but it obviously isn't clear. They appear to many, including myself, as acts of harassment, because when broken down that's what they are. Trolling is simply harassing other people and trying to get a rise out of them.
With Milo's situation, I stand with Twitter. It is not as though he has never been spiteful of others on the site or been controversial with what he says. It is not as though there has never been a right for private companies to refuse service to people whenever they want. I've never really liked the guy. He just uses debates as a little playground for him to take digs at people and just generally exhibit that he is rather hateful as a person.
