Doesn't really matter if it's strictly just for breakfast for me. I'd have one and chase it down with some after-dinner coffee.

if its the sweet kind then yea

if you eat it with dessert type stuff yeah but just syrup and butter is breakfast

if you eat it with ice cream or something then yes. otherwise i'd still consider it a very sweet breakfast.

I would pretty much only consider it for a dessert.
It just does not seem like a breakfast food to me.
