Would it be a good idea that if the client detects itself downloading a addons/addons/addons/*and on* would it automaticly just download the final folder to keep the BL directory clean? it would let people go to servers without the folder rape

that would be a great idea, but it would also encourage newbs to extract wrongly.

the add-ons system is already being completely redone for v9, and the new system will eliminate this problem.

V9 will have add-ons as .zip folders, and RTB will release around the same time, which means add-ons will be auto downloaded.

Aye, no more having to dig through forums to find "that" mod.

I believe it also has rating features (so you can get reviews on mods) and more.
