Author Topic: once you got a job, what would you spend your money on?  (Read 5219 times)

shoes clothes and bitches

If I could re-do my first job, I would save more money than I did.

I've been saving my money. I did spend a bit of it on PKMNGo coins and Fire Emblem DLC. Also recently got back into BTD5 and got Terraria too. I wish I could buy my time back though :(

probably savings for the future, and a donation or two to some great servers

food, utilities and video games

I have a job. I spend about $20 monthly on a VPS but other than that just gas and some food, with only occasional purchases for other stuff, like a couple of weeks ago I bought some more ram. my mom pays for bills and stuff (although I give her $100 a week), but I guess that'll change whenever I move out
Who buys a house before they buy a car
someone who doesn't need a car

I'll buy Blockland from Baddie for a dollar.

Assuming I don't live alone and I don't pay for taxes:
- Computer parts
- Car parts

I'm currently looking for work.
I've got a holiday booked for next year so I need to save for that.
I hope to take driving lessons soon, which I can afford, but I'd need to save to afford a car.
My phone contract (which my dad used to cover) has ended and I need a new phone, so I need to get one.
I want to sign up to my local fitness centre, mostly so I can go swimming and lose some weight.
I generally want to save just to have some savings.
But, I still live at home and as such will have to pay rent equal to 33% of my wage. So budgeting for this stuff will probably be tight.

A nice computer is also something to think about but isn't a priority at all.

A decent computer
Old video games and consoles
And lots and lots of Pringles

i'm probably gonna get a job in 2017 so up until i leave the house i'm going to put half away for later savings and spend/save the rest for personal stuff and hobbies
