Recently bought headset mic is now making crackling noises, Help?

My recently bought headset mic is now making crackling noises, i just got it in the mail last night and it worked perfectly
now, for some reason when i come back in the morning the mic is making crackling noises and it sounds like chips being eaten.
Any suggestions?

Call the company and tell them you got a faulty product and you want a replacement.

Just check you have it plugged in properly first, that the cables haven't accidentally been pulled out a bit.

But if the issue persists then contact the company and complain. They should replace/repair it for you.

the cables was plugged out a bit but it somehow still didnt fix the problem
