I suffer from sleep insomnia alot and I normally like to use otc sleeping pills constantly. Im probably over reacting but is it bad to use these pills constantly?

they will eventually stop working

Like melatonin? You can't even overdose on that stuff.

Tolerance builds up and eventually you have trouble falling asleep both with the pill and especially without it. It isnt nearly as bad as with opioid-based sleeping pills though.

If you've had trouble sleeping for a long time you should visit your doctor and get their opinion. They may refer you to a sleep specialist and get you help with other, possibly more permanent, treatments.

This.

You could also ask a pharmacist. Most pharmacies have a consultation window that you can walk up to and ask these type of questions

Speaking as somebody with severe insomnia, go see a doctor. Lack of sleep is extremely unhealthy and seeking a permanent solution now would be the best idea

Knock yourself unconcious  :cookieMonster:

Get drunk and jerk off. That seems to work well for getting to sleep.

D.O.N.T do this, it is a loving bad idea to take it every night, as too many could be possibly deadly. Also it sounds like you are addicted
