Author Topic: bullets not leaving the muzzlepoint  (Read 979 times)

I've put this muzzlepoint here, exported it to dts correctly, and ive tried the following:
making it parented to detail32
making it not parented
making it parented to shape
marking Aramtures to not export with the dts
marking armatures to export with the dts

yet this still happens

it leaves the handle instead of the actual mountpoint.

are you using port's exporter?

use ports i have never heard of demians
unless you mean the one for blender 2.49b in which case it wont work with blender 2.77 as you are currently using. you'll have to install 2.49b, save your item as a legacy mesh, and then open in 2.49b to add the nodes.
(btw its not demians, he just posted permanent DL links to them)

for ports you dont use armatures, you use empties.

that is what i did

Show us your outliner

you appear to have two armatures - mind i ask why?

we can discuss this further and faster on steam

one for mountPoint and the other for muzzlePoint

i thought those were bones, not armatures

hes using 2.49b to export

i thought those were bones, not armatures
in order to have a bone you need an armature

i guess he didnt show the full outliner

still doesn't explain wy two armatures

you can put muzzlepoint and ejectpoint bones alongside other bones that are animated under the same armature without problems

i had to parent the second armature, and that fixed things up
everything is working fine now
