21 dollars for the entire deck?

Yeah, made entirely from stuff I collected for SoI and EM, as well as a few other sets.

I don't think I could make a decent Meren deck for 21 dollars lol

Mikaeus alone is 20 dollars.

Honestly, while it's a casual deck, I enjoy it because it gets work done and it's relatively cheap. Plus, who doesn't like getting swarmed with humans turn 6 or 7?

get that orbs of warding out of the deck, it sucks rooster. doesn't stop "each player" effects. sure you can survive a goblin/soldier inf token swarm with it but honestly if you're playing in a group with someone with a gay deck like that you're in the wrong group.

playing black and only one tutor effect? gross.

Orbs of warding is to protect my graveyard.

I have 3 reoccurring tutor effects, sidisi, runescar demon and the hydra.

nurd
all of u are nurds

now excuse me while i chuck footballs at the teachers

Most graveyard hate cards I've dealt with target players.

this is my favorite deck to play, but i have 2 others, marath and rafiq the many

i had one of those handicapped elf decks where you gain 30 life a turn and half like 80 elves on the field but i gave it away for like 4 cards

i hope those 4 cards were gaea's cradles

I'm running a $60 Green-Red Hydra deck. The strategy is to spam mana for a few turns before doubling it with a mana charge and bringing out some trampling Hydras and going full-on assault. If played well you can win in 4-6 turns. It has almost no Sorcery/Instants and as a result it has a serious vulnerability to Blue and White, because they can easily incapacitate the Hydras. Only way to gain HP is by playing land so I tend to push it pretty carefully, often winning with just 1-5 health left. Usually my opponent is still at 20 or 15 or so before they die. It destroys against Red, Green, Black (usually), mixed-White (usually), and rarely against Blue.

I've updated it since building it here but you can see the early build:

So I got 4 new cards, any idea of what I should replace?

I'm thinking deathrite shaman for the seer for 1.

or should I add birthing pod?

I think you would much rather play Birthing Pod over Orbs of Warding.  Sure, Orbs prevents you from getting targeted by a Bojuka Bog, but you'd still have issues with Rest in Peace, Relic of Progenitus, Leyline of the Void, and Ground Seal.  Birthing Pod generates much more value in the long run.
