My parents think letting me stay home alone for 3 days is illegal.

because theres basically nothing to do there and it's really inconvenient trying to get to school from there, normally I could just walk/take a bus.

anyways I talked to them about it a bit more and they said they were willing to let me stay home alone at some other point but not during this whole trip because its "too long" for me to stay home to them.

ignore your parents and stay home anyways. there's not a whole lot that can do.

Lol my mom says I can invite people over whenever they're gone but any girls have to stay outside. I mean I don't invite people over anyway because I don't have the resources to entertain, but still.

my parents are a bit restrictive but they will be fine with me

but i'd suggest do like what raven did and just tell them you can handle this

Sounds like mine, they've almost never let me spend a night alone and I'm 18. Only time I've gone a couple days without them was last summer when the rest of my family went to the beach and I had to work, and they were still awfully paranoid about it.

Definitely not illegal though, and it's not abandonment if they're just gone for a few days with everyone knowing.
