Legally it shouldn't matter.
But I think it's got to do with the huge price break on insurance when people turn 25. So rental lots probably use 25+ only to save stuff loads of money.

Oh, definitely not; I wasn't even expecting much anyway considering I've mostly reduced myself to lurking as of late with a post here & there.
It sounds like you're rather tired of birthday topics though from what I can tell, so... Sorry, I guess?

That being said, I never intended to rent/own a car in the future so I guess I'll never be the stuff I wanted to be :^(
