i'm sure we'll evolve to adapt

design and build a really big radiator to radiate more of the suns heat away
I'll stick to sampling water 4 hours a day.

guys guys WHAT IF VENUS WAS AN EARTH1.0 THAT WE DESTROYED??? THAT'S WHY IT'S UNBELIEVABLY HOT AND HAS A THICK CARBON ATMOSPHERE!!!

The people who think "I don't care, I'm going to be dead by then" reflect those who run most of the major governments on Earth. In fact, it reflects humanity.

Humanity as a whole generally doesn't give a stuff because global warming is that threat that doesn't feel "immediate" because it is a slow change. If an asteroid is coming at Earth, people'll actively try to stop it.

Human-induced global warming and the super bug are one of the biggest threats that we face today, but no one seems to care because its immediate. That is human nature.

super bug? What's that?

antibiotic resistant bacteria

I don't care because I'll not only be dead, earth will be dead in a few million years naturally from the sun going super nova.

Might as well get a jumpstart.

people are just chemical reactions

First off, the sun isn't going to go supernova. It's not large enough.
Second off, it's not going to be millions of years. It's going to be BILLIONS of years. We have plenty of time to become a multi-solarsystem species before that happens.

Fine, the sun will die and everything that depends on the sun's light will die.

Why does it matter? The universe will either do the big crunch or become the same temperature everywhere killing off 100% of life lol.

This endless cycle of reproducing is getting tedious and going nowhere.

Tony, your genocidal instincts are just chemical reactions. Calm down.

we need to plant more trees

I just want to know what's the point where in the end the universe will die killing everything. You have to see the big picture here.

Earth is about 4.543 billion years old. Humans have been on earth for about 200,000 years. Humans are already a few billion years behind, there is no way we will be advanced enough to solve the world crCIA let alone the universe.

this is bad news but it won't stop me from ripping the catalysts off my car

we need to plant more trees

put trees on planes so they can take the bad gas right out of the atmosphere

There is actually a theory that there were aliens at some point in the universe but they don't exist in the universe anymore because they were able to evolve a few billion years faster than us humans. With technology that is a few billion years old they were able to escape to the 4th dimension.

Even if that is true or not there is still a possibility of an alien race locating us humans and enslaving us because they are a couple billion years much older.
