Author Topic: What is the best decade of music?  (Read 5275 times)

Good and bad are super subjective so this entire thread is just gathering the majority vote of an already disconnected minority of mostly-white gamers across America. This should yield some alternative results.

For real though, popularity is a better measurement of music, since its an actual quantitative measurement. Example: Michael Jackson had 9 hits in the 80s, making him one of the most popular musicians of the 80s. Rihanna has 9 hits in the 2010s+, making her the most popular musician of this decade. Its so much simpler this way lmao

Despite this, we can all agree that ponystep is the literal spawn of satan and should be removed from almost every corner of the earth

that means we got Drake in common

The 2000s. The NFS games between (and including) Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) through to Need for Speed: Underground (2008) have some of the best soundtracks of anything ever.

TO THE WINDOOOOOW, TO THE WALL!

50's were the greatest but 90's were FO SHIZZLE.

you know biggie smalls has been dead for almost 20 years right

he's a decomposing corpse in the ground. 90s hip hop should follow (except g funk and wu tang clan)

Biggie was cremated you dum-dum bubblegum poop nut.

80s music was objectively good and marks a real revolution in pop culture and stuff. 90s started rap and hip hop and such, which was a pretty interesting movement. Then stuff went into decline for the next ten years until people like drake and future started getting off their asses and making the gucci.

yeah but like, you literally harp on him in everything you say and do. you dont see me naming myself after popular rappers

dont get me wrong biggie smalls was a great artist and so was tupac but they're not necessarily relevant anymore. you can still love it and not have it dictate stuff as simple as your name and posting conventions.

We all know that Rap is inferior to even country music, so I dunno why anybody would defend it. Country is what the NFS games needed more of.

never knew the inferior genre could turn up on the top 100 charts so much. i guess the majority of the american population must be inferior.

also you live in australia so i dont even know what type of stuff you listen to. probably kangaroo noises

That's why you guys need such large guns in your households; compensating for the tiny size of your snakees and your stuff taste in music.

Let me know when a black man makes some music that doesn't require several brain haemorrhages to understand.
