Not protecting some little stuff country in the middle of nowhere comprised of people who don't like us anyway =/= not believing in democracy
The people that we're actually supporting in Syria are trying to overthrow the islamic regime, aka the regime that actually hates us. The people that we're trying to empower love us because we're helping them reach their goals of a democratic state. I don't know what bullstuff fox news has been feeding you, but you should probably hire a factchecker just to make sure. Maybe even two.

Of course, war is one of the least wanted outcomes of this conflict, and everyone here can agree on this. However, when it comes to the atrocities that Russia has been getting away with, that fear of the outcome will have to be put aside. When you see a burning building with people trapped inside, you don't debate whether or not you'll survive the fire, you hopefully run in head first and try to save people. Otherwise, you're just another spineless politician, possibly like the very corrupt ones you tend to write threads about.

Annoying Orange wants to strenthen diplomatic ties with Russia, which is already proof that he's thinking about money over morality. If you prefer your country to suck up to moneybags and put morals in the trash bin, go ahead. I'm not going to stop you. Just remember that the whole 'war on corruption' has its own double standards.

intervention in Syria is a very very bad idea.
I agree it is, but that is how he is authoritarian and therefore socially right
