i don't think this is a ddos, it's probably some other attack considering that a huge ass amount of websites like reddit, twitter, and netflix (which are probably on powerful servers that protect against ddosing) were hit. usually ddosing is used for one or a few targets only too

no my point is that there's probably no one out there with the capability of attacking so many incredibly popular websites that are nearly invulnerable to ddos attacks

edit: ok according to techcrunch it was a ddos attack on a dns server (how your computer looks up website addresses) which makes more sense than attacking multiple websites which i thought people were saying originally

Honestly I feel bad for the people that can't go on Spotify or Netflix.

Paying monthly for a website just for it to just stop fully for this long probably sucks.
