So I made a thread about this not too long ago, and I didn't know why it was taking up so much space, but I narrowed it down to Blizzard just having a stuffty update system. But now, its gotten worse after installing the PTR.

I really don't care its taking up that much space, I still have 500gb left on my 1tb drive, but come on, this stuff is ridiculous.
yes i know its not 200gb but 198.8gb doesnt exactly sound good in a title

the forget dude lmao

i downloaded it for the free weekend and it was 7gb

Make sure there's not a screenshot folder in the overwatch file with a bunch of huge images. I had a ~30gb file with like 10 images in it once.

wth

You probably have screenshots at 8x, which creates files that eat up space cause theyre .bmp

I have screenshots at 1x, and I don't even take screenshots in the first place.

So I reinstalled both live and the PTR and now its down to ~6gb and ~7gb respectively.

How does a loving screenshot take up that much space, holy Christ.
