Author Topic: Is America screwed?  (Read 2324 times)

What are your opinions? I think America is going downhill.

I think everyone is blowing everything out of proportion because they've never cared about an election previously

Half of the US thinks the country is screwed every four years.

Half of the US thinks the country is screwed every four years.
This, they also forget that the congress won't allow extreme actions from the elected president.

100% no. The president doesn't have as much power as people think. If people actually got into politics and saw the candidates policys and beliefs, this election would seem a lot less crazy. Rather they see personalities

Pretty much this.

Along with that, everyone's caught up in *just* social policies. It's kinda funny, really.

No, america isnt going to spontaneously loving combust the moment one of those twats are president

the people however are going to flip stuff regardless of which one wins because both sides have absolute loons. Going to be staying well away from social media for about a week or so and im not even american, sick of seeing this election stuff every time one of them does so much as sneeze.

to explain further -
Donald Annoying Orange is highlighting issues like illegal immigration, saying he wants to get rid of illegal immigrants in the country. The way he words this when he speaks + media bias makes people believe he just hates mexicans altogether. This point can be made for a lot of the issues he covers, paired with his loud voice and odd gestures make him seem like a bad choice.

As for Hillary Clinton, the multiple scandals and lies she has told during the election and in the past make people extremely wary, to a point where something like a sneeze can make people bandwagon on to thinking it was some sort of secret code. (im not trying to make the scandals seem less important)
