Author Topic: Just got some fresh air jordan 11's  (Read 2239 times)

imo Air Jordans feel amazing on your feet, just imo they're not worth the 150 + dollar price tag, more like 70-120 would be a decent price

its not a waste of money if you wear them, nonetheless they look nice

shoes wear. in my experience with shoes in that price range, the quality is not good at all and they tend to fall apart.

i got jordans from a thrift store for $4 in great condition along with a little dog-tag card thing that came with them

that makes no sense,

shoes that are 150-155 dollars have bad material, so how much should i spend then?

jordans always have good material, thats why people buy from them, if they never had good material, they wouldnt be running for almost 60 years

yeah well i got some cool shoes as well see

got them for $250 a few days ago i really got a good bargain

buy more expendable shoes. if they are pretty much the same quality, why pay twice the price? never spend more than 80 dollars on shoes.

they run well because society makes them coveted. you're paying for the name.

my timbs are a1 and material is top notch

congrats on wasting money on loving shoes.
i don't think you really understand how much it costs to make something or why people buy these kind of things
there's the cost of the materials, the cost of the manufacturing, the cost to store them, the cost to pack them, the cost of shipping, the cost of advertisement, the cost of taxes, and the cost of profit
this all adds up over time and that's why things like this cost so much
you're paying for more than the name for jordans
i hear the argument like "wow these cost like $8 to make why did you spend so much on it?!" and these people are objectively wrong

op, i love 11 lows so this stuff is always good

when you spend that kind of money, especially on something that wears, you expect quality material and stitching. not some stuffty resin that holds the sole together for what, a year?

Expensive shoes are like famous historical artifacts. They're probably worth less than a dollar in raw materials, but the fact that they are designer or collection makes them valuable. This is why Jordans are worth the money; they are related to Michael Jordan and therefore have value.

Arguing that expensive shoes are a waste of money is essentially you claiming that personal value doesn't exist. A more relatable example would be paying 10$ for a hand full of dirt that your crush touched. Others will see it as a waste of money but you might be feeling a little creepy and decide to pay the price.

Is it a waste of money? No. It holds value to the buyer and is therefore worth the price.

I bought white jordan 14s and they've lasted me about 2 years and still look alright. I don't know what bootleg ass fake you spent 200$ on but whatever it was it was probably made with elmurs glue

well if you aren't a complete idiot and don't kick around your feet or drag them around then they're guaranteed to last over a year
and people who are into jordans usually have more than 1 pair so they're usually not just wearing 1 pair every day for a year
also why are you assuming that jordans don't have quality material and stitching when you aren't even into them?

jordans arent designer, 11's have been around since 2002 but they were called nike air max's

but i like your thinking though

congrats on wasting money on loving shoes.
jordans have strong material, most people who buy shoes actually wear them, be toxic somewhere else
