Author Topic: When I close my eyes, everything goes black.  (Read 7585 times)

When you close your eyes everything goes black because it is your eyelids and they are closing all of the light coming into your eyes. You can see this when you squint. Hope this helped!

Are you serious?? I'm gonna go head and assume you're serious I guess.

People do not think you can literally see things behind your eyelids. It has jack stuff to do with your eyes.

For most people, closing their eyes tells their brain to not look for visual stimuli—because their eyes are shut. It also removes visual distractions. This leaves room for the brain to focus and think without having to process visual information.

Don't be so loving asinine about something you've given little thought to. "Lmao wtf is wrong with people tryna tell me I can see my mind with my eyes closed loving BS"

How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't real?

i mean this in the nicest, most non-memeing way I can say it: you might have autism OP

TBH, look at his post history. He seems either definitely not 17 or on the spectrum in some way.

Q: My eyes are open, and I see black, why?
A: You're blind
Dammit, who would've known?

Wow, this was something I've been wondering for almost my whole entire life! THANK YOU, MATTHEW!

great contribution to the discussion, repeating what's been said like 10 times already

No, It's just the opening statement to get to the point I made. I just don't get why people think it's necessary to close your eyes in order to use your imagination.

are you loving dumb, why do you think hallucinating is a bad thing
