Author Topic: Pence addressed by Hamilton actors, Annoying Orange claims theater wasn't a "safe space"  (Read 2692 times)

The whole point of a 'safe space' is a space where everyone can share their opinions and exist
no. a safe-space is a designated space where controversial opinions are banned so that you can exist without have your beliefs challenged or getting 'triggered', like sir dooble said.

it's a stupid concept, and we don't need them to be designated because everyone already has one: their home. unless random Annoying Orange supporters climb in your windows to spew their political beliefs upon you before promptly leaving, you should just stay home if you arent ready to handle human interaction.

Is that theater known for calling out specific individuals in the audience?
If you'd read 2 sentences further you'd find I addressed that. It's not common every day, but there is precedent for politicians and national leaders being directly addressed in plays as well as just generally in public. It's an expectation of politics that politicians are addressed and challenged anywhere and everywhere.

republicans have a history of having bad times at plays
