Problems with getting hats to work

There is a problem for me with the hat addons. I was able to download them and put them into my add-on folder. I have multiple hat addons installed. I have installed, Hatmod_Jake.zip, and Server_HatMod.zip. However when I go to enable my addons Hatmod_Jake.zip isn't there. Is that what is causing my hats to not work? Also when the hats are available are they in the Player menu or do you have to type it in, when in game?

That is completely normal.
The hats are automatically loaded with Server_HatMod so you only need to enable that.

As for wearing them, you have to use the command /hat in-game. This only works on your server or servers that also have hatmod.

Oh, that's a bit of a problem.
If you don't have an add-on that lets you view/change preferences then I can't really help you further.

/hat does not work in the console. / commands period do not work in the console.

when you use hatmod, you start with no hats, regardless how many hats you have installed. instead, you gain them randomly as time passes.

you can enable all hats on start with rtb or blockland glass

SA: /grantHat Target Hat name: Grants hat to Target
SA: /ClearHats (Target): Clears all hats of Target, or yourself if Target isn't given/
SA: /HatTime Time: Set time inbetween ticks in minutes, 5-60. Set 0 to disable.
SA: /Hat Chance Time: Set percent chance per tick for a client to get a random hat, 1-10. Set to 0 to disable.
SA: /HatSharing: Toggles the /giveHat command.
SA: /Hatclearing: Toggles the /clearHats command for non super admins.
SA: /DuplicateHats: Toggles if you can have more than one of each hat.

I typed in the first one of course because I want a hat. So I put /grantHat (My Name) (Hat name).
It gave me this message:
You granted yourself a (hat name), cheater!

So I think it worked but when I went into 3rd person it wasn't on, how do I put it on?
Also is their a list of my hats so I can pick which I want to wear?

Thanks so much. I can now wear the hats I have, been wondering how to wear them for about 3 days now. Thanks now I know how to wear them.
