I have this set up for when I make a custom rig, the prices fluctuate so keep that in mind

If you can't afford the extra 40 bucks, then drop the sound card and the wifi card and go with a USB wifi connector

Also Here are  few videos that I watched that helped me figure out some stuff as well. If you need more just search around on youtube and google. Linus, BitWit, Paul's Hardware and more are great youtube channels for this stuff.

$987 with OS https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kyzsnn
doesn't have the unnecessary stuff that INH's has.

ey a dvd drive can be very useful depending on the person, same for a sound card

Also wouldn't the 25-35 dollar OS keys from the Reddit threads be better over spending 100+?

Wait really? Aw man when did this happen?

edit: I looked into the reddit and it's still up, just the stickied post says they aren't allowing any new sellers. The comments on the new threads are all saying the transactions and the keys worked as well.

holy stuff I missed the opportunity to get a gold case and name it Annoying Orange tower

If you want a good case for it get a coolermaster

Yeah CoolerMaster and Corsair cases are the way to go

fractal design is also gr8

Also if you are planning to water cool it you should have someone with experience do it or tell you how. I would suggest to just use fans because of how risky it can be. Also if you want a good motherboard you can get the asus m5a97.
