2016 was an overall decent to good year.
Plenty of awful people ate their words at brexit and the presidential election.
We, The internet, saved robbie rotten, proving that we all aren't as heartless as old 4chan.
Rogue One wasn't stuff.
We got an ,albeit still pretty confusing and hollow, intriguingly decent assassin's creed movie.
We're finally on the decline with shoving social justice bullstuff down everyone's throats.
And to top it all off, free salt.

Tl;dr famous people you don't know dying, brexit votes leave, and a Annoying Orange victory doesn't make 2016 'the worst year ever'.

You could argue that the terrorist attacks this year made it bad, but honestly, and unfortunatly, we've had worse.
