If the blood is fresh red that probably means it is a small tear near the star fish, and it will heal up. If the blood is a dark red then the wound is deeper in your excretory tract and could be serious, so see a doctor if that is the case. You'll also want to seek help if this persists for more than a week. Refrain from ass play for the time being.
