It wouldn't matter if his show was about unicorns, because if he acts like a tribal outside of his job, then his bosses can still fire him for that. Most businesses see their employees as an extension of their image, meaning that when someone like Sam Hyde comes along and outs themselves as a potential tribal, it's much easier for them to just cut him out of the company.
