theres only so much explaining one can give
the badness of that mindset is that its social apathy when you're too apathetic and it gets hard to put in the effort about stopping it so it slips through as opposition fizzles out
explaining is the same thing: it takes too much effort to explain why that mindset is bad when it leaves very little reward (cause someone else will eventually ask so whats the point) so its far easier to just call it stupid
otto-san:
the fact that the FCC chairman may be anti-net neutrality is absolutely a bad thing. best-case scenario, he decides to do nothing, but i doubt that is going to happen because of how incredibly easy it would be for him to decide to do something. and there won't be any help from the cheif executive or congress either because both of those are currently anti-net neutrality as well

but that doesn't mean you should let your left nut also get kicked if your right nut gets kicked

plus doesn't the US actually have net neutrality
it's just not being strictly enforced at the moment
